Fiddlin’ Red Simpson has been performing early American string band music from 1970 through the present. These 1972 recordings by California Condor Records were released on his first LP. Now his first LP is available on CD!
Most of the fiddle tunes on this CD have their origins in Ireland and Scotland. Red learned them directly from veteran fiddlers from all over the U.S. as well as from recordings on labels such as County Records.
